The Aurora Burl Executive Pen

This handcrafted writing instrument was created as a personal gift for a friend — a one-of-a-kind piece that showcases the craftsmanship and artistry behind custom commissions from ShepStudio3D.

Turned from stabilized burl wood that was triple-dyed and resin-cured, the grain reveals deep jewel tones and natural burl figuring with incredible depth and movement. Finished to a high-gloss polish, the surface shifts with the light, highlighting rich purple, ember red, and gold tones throughout the wood.

The barrel is paired with a solid brass hardware kit featuring ornate detailing and a pearl finial insert, providing a balanced weight and refined heirloom feel. This pen is not available for sale — it is presented here as an example of what can be created through custom commission.
